Not sure if this is animated or static, I was trying to go for a “looping Idle” sort of motion so you can really soak in the feeling of screaming across the desert in a podracer, rather than a specific segment of the story.
One major focus was getting this optimized to work on mobile VR, and I think I’ve done that reasonably well. In order to internalize and learn about the workflow for videogames, I decided to take the course “Realistic Prop Creation for Video Games” by Paula Sánchez-Ferrero Ruiz at Domestika.
With my previous experience and the artist’s guidance, I proceeded to create a model that required baking and work on Zbrush.
All meshes were designed in 3ds Max. The main frame of the bed (made up of welded pipes) was later sculpted in Zbrush.
