Another older model I decided to revamp and upload. I added a ton of details, particularly the portcullis winch and chains inside the gatehouse. I also tried some new effects with vertex color. This is a modular set that I originally intended to go with the houses that I already uploaded. This is an environmental model created for a fantastical game on an alien planet. The base model was created with hard surface tools in Maya. Once I had a base to work from, I exported the model as an .obj file, so I could then import it into ZBrush. ZBrush allowed me to produce a higher quality sculpt. This high-res sculpt was then exported as such. I then used some tools specific to ZBrush to produce a low-poly model. However, this model was not game-ready as it had a higher amount of polys and didn’t fit into the poly budget allotted. Maya was the next stop. Time to re-topo.
Finally, I used the high-res model produced in ZBrush to project fine details into the normal map for the low-poly re-topo created in Maya. What you see here is a sub-divided view of the final result that had 4,700 polys 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 56928 polygons.

Abandoned portal
Made this portal for a project of mine that I never finished because I got stuck in unsignificant details. The main story of the project was about a girl that used to come and sit down by the portal waiting for her friend to return. The portal shut down many years ago and nobody could get in contact with those that were on the other side.
The cement component was sculpted to create small cracks and imperfections around the edges. (baked onto the low poly model)

My last design, some Portal Axles for my RC Car MTC Chassis with Rigid Axles. The portal axles can be used in other designs too. The fun part of this axles is they give the 1/10 scale crawler 13mm extra clearance with floor, making it easier to overcome some obstacles.
They use M1 gears inside each wheelhub and the rear axle can be fully 3D printing, I mean using no dogbones or CVDs, but working differentials if you want.
