So, I decided to use this diorama school project as a way to explore what 3d can offer and how it looks it other completely different styles.
I went on a completely different direction from my first project (treasure chest) going from a some what realistic hand painted to the most stylized texture I could do. I decided to do cell shading for this one, although cell shading material doesn’t export to sketchfab I decided to duplicate every object and flip it’s polygons to give a similar ilusion, ence the diorama having the double of the budget tri on sketchfab. The glass bottle and cork and separate objects. The “Liquid” meshes are just extra decor, but can be removed. All the modeling was created using Blender.
The glass mesh is divided in two (outer and inner glass) for sketchfab aesthetic purposes.
*Consired lowpoly for Renders/Realistic style games.
UV’s:
Glass bottle’s (both inner and outer) and cork. For some reason the glass UV’s will not show in the sketchfab inspector.
TEXTURES:
Includes game ready seamless cork textures: 2048x2048 diffuse and specular maps. This is an original texture made by myself using my own photograph references and Krita. (Haha, professionalism!).
Specular map may work as a normal map.
For a “cartoony” style I found that using a blurry version of the cork texture works well.
