And here's the plasma rifle I made for the Elite. It was harder to make than I thought. The organic shapes in this gun were quite difficult to model for some reason. I guess I'm not very good at making organic 3D models, but that just means I need to do more of this stuff. I'm definitely not done making organic looking halo guns and characters! The gun was inspired from games like Overwatch, Fortnite and Call of Duty! I made this original concept, and got to work with it. It’s a pulsefire rifle, which used energy from the suit of the host to function, pretty cool right! One with ammo in mag is… well, big, as ammo have some verts in it and also its separated to few parts so if you are not into animation of every case inside, you can just move mag fallower inside and remove one part so its look like ammo inside mag is actually moving(crude method, but few games do that with transparent mags).
Of Course there is also non-transparent magazine and rig without ammo inside so use this if you dont want to flood game with ammo that is not even visible.

This is my first time making 3D character art, so it took long to make this model. I was never satisfied with the body and textures of the Elite, so I was constantly changing and adding things. After the Elite was finally finished, I decided out of the blue that the Elite needed a plasma rifle. Then I had to model that gun too, which also took a million years…
However, it was the most fun personal project I’ve ever done, and I learned so much from it! I will definitely be making more character art in the future.
The alien in question is a Covenant Elite Zealot or Sangheili Zealot. I’m a huge fan of Halo and I was shocked to realize I’ve never done 3D Halo stuff before. So I chose to make an HD remake of the classic Halo CE elite zealot, with some of my own changes here and there.
