I’ve purposefully made one ear uneven as Vincent had cut off his ear with a razor blade towards the end of his life. I found a doctor’s note which details how his ear looked so it’s as accurate as I can get it. It’s slightly surreal to experience this portrait in 3D and get a real life-like sense of the man beyond just a single pose.
