A simple stylized fantasy tree. I really like how it turned out! In the future, I think I'll join the leaves on the tree to the actual tree model, and potentially fill it in more than I have. I tried to stick to simple colours, and give it a bit more texture than just being flat, while still keeping the look. I've always been a sucker for glowing mushrooms. Or glowing anything. Modeled in Blender and textured in Substance Painter. I’ve been watching these mushrooms grow in a little patch of forest near my house and the #AgisoftNatureChallenge provided a good incentive to see how well they’d scan. I was a bit surprised at how some of the details like the ant colony entrance turned out. All in all, it was a good experience trying to capture something that I might not have attempted otherwise.
Model made from 132 12MB images taken with a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and processed in Metashape using “High” quality settings.
