Hello everyone,
This was such a cool project to work on. I made this project based on the concept art from Kyle Corneliushttps://www.artstation.com/artwork/5l2Kz. Everything has a first time well this project was a lot of first times. This is my first time working in zbrush I always wanted to learn how to sculpt and work it down to a useable game ready creature. After making the high poly in zbrush I went to Maya for the retopo this was also a first for me so learned to work with the quad draw tool. When the low poly was done I uv unwrapped in Maya and textured in substance painter. I went back to zbrush for the posing. First time trying handpainting, incredibly glad to be able to put that skill in my toolbox while continuing to develop it.
It was also a lot of fun to try and push a sense of space and diorama with airlines flowing around the plane.

My submission for the second GameArt assignment at DAE Howest. A lot of struggle in the design phase led to a lot of difficulties and mistakes. I didn’t think this would lead to anything good, but i stuck with the few things i had thought out and it came out pretty okay in my opinion. I learned a huge amount however and feel way more comfortable now going into the final assignment!
