Here is my attempt at a makeshift axe crafted out of of wood, a rock and some rope; similar to what you would find in many survival-based games. Only took me a few hours in total and I happy with the result. I may even use it in a future project which would be nice. I created it to improve my hard surface modeling and texturing skills. The model is divided into 6 parts:
M4A1 Assault Rifle,
Reflex sight,
Suppressor,
Vertical grip,
Iron sight,
Magazine.
Each part has separate texture set so every attachment can be used in other weapons (future assets).
The low and high poly meshes were modeled and unwrapped in Blender and then baked and textured in Substance Painter.
