Testing my train-rig with an animation on an unrealistic curve
(the curve is a bit to sharp, train would crash in real life).
I’m not 100% happy with the rig but so far it works well , the axes recognize the animation path, steering works and everything is on rail.
Next, I’ll create the rig for the wagons and add some tire rotation.

This is actually a remake of a model that was featured in one of the levels I created for No More Room in Hell, quirky details preserved. At the time I was not able to actually create 3d models properly and found a way to circumvent it by using Propper - an addon that allows one to create a Source Engine model using only the Hammer Editor. Number 5775 (L.89) was withdrawn from LT in 1969 and sold to Keighley & Worth Valley Railway where she later starred in a film, The Railway Children (1970).
