My original model of sith lady Darth Talon. Since I didn't find a Darth Talon to download anywhere, I created my own. This model was made in Blender and original textures I made in GIMP. Original body was created in Makehuman. I took inspiration from mobile game Galaxy of Heroes and pictures on Google. A ship from the ’90s Expanded Universe, the I7 Howlrunner was a small starfighter developed by Incom Corporation (the same manufacturers as the X-wing) for the Empire. Probably best-known from the Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels, I stayed pretty faithful to the design, but made a couple of angles slightly more exciting and a little less boxy.
Out-of-universe, the ship’s design is probably an homage to the Buck Rogers Thunderfighter, concepted by Ralph McQuarrie, who also worked on Star Wars’ fighters. I wanted to make sure my version felt Star Wars-y enough, so I textured it in an extremely similar to the style of the OT X-wings. I hope you enjoy this slightly obscure ship model! What you get
This model is game ready, VR ready, and looks great in renders! The rig is designed to work in Untiy and VR chat, but will work in most 3D software. The cape is rigged with a series of bones to make Dynamic Bone simulation possible, but you can overide that in your software of choice real time cloth sims. The lightsaber blade is rigged to be fully controlable through animation or scripting.
Incudes the Darth Vader model, Darth Vader lightsaber hilt and blade models, full texture sets in up to 4k resolution, custom made punchcard texture for the animated lights, custom unity shaders (Built in render pipline, shaderforge editable). Vader is fully rigged and fully UV’d.
