An entry for the 3D Editor Challenge
Based on “Littlest Tokyo” by glenatron, licensed under CC Attribution-ShareAlike.
This time I wanted to simply enhance the stylised look with some complimentry lighting, and a nice vibrant sunsent seemed to work a treat!
Beyond the basic light setup, I added a background to match my colour scheme and a shadowcatcher to grab those long end of day shadows. Another 1 and a half week project of a medieval heavy crossbow. Inspired after a portfolio critique and been wanting to create a medieval/fantasy inspired piece for some time now.
Modelling done in Maya with certain detailed parts such as the wood carvings and stock ornaments done with the help of Zbrush and photoshop. Textured with substance painter and rendering done on Unreal engine 5.
This might be my last project in a while since I have an actual full time job that I have to attend to, however I will be back with more projects in the future and will keep on improving my skills as required.
