The Blade of the Sin'dorei, its original name and purpose forget to time, nearly as ancient as the Sunwell itself, the High elves revered as their source of power. But this blade draws on something else for its strength; the dark Fel magic that shattered the continent has the burning legions marched. This scene was made for the end assignment of 3D1 in DAE Howest. The seaside theme was chosen and shows part of a tropical resort, there is a house up for hire where people can stay during their visit. Surfboards and jetski are also available, information is found within the smaller blue building next to the boardsrack.
Ther is of course a beach volleyball net that is available to guests free of charge.

A stylization of the loveably wonky AMC DH.2 airplane from WW1.
First time trying handpainting, incredibly glad to be able to put that skill in my toolbox while continuing to develop it.
It was also a lot of fun to try and push a sense of space and diorama with airlines flowing around the plane.

Hand painted scene I did for my Game Graphics final exam in Digital Arts and Entertainment.
For the concept I based myself on the abandon military and scientific bases of Deception Island (Antartica), including the old whale oil refinery factories.
While searching for some reference, I fell in love with the colors and mood that some of the pictures depicted from these places . They are completly abandoned and destroyed, but their surroundings seemed so quiet, pure and constant in time that made these houses feel like the only reserves of life in the place, even though they were forgotten long time ago.
Textured in Photoshop and modelled in 3ds MAX.
