Here are a pair of Dynamite sticks that I modelled for my Final Major Project at college, however they ended up not being used and were pushed to one side. Since I’ve now finished college, I thought I’d go back to it and rework the topology and polycount, as well as texturing it using Substance Painter to achieve optimum results. Even though its not perfect, I’m pleased with the result and may have a couple of other western assets coming up soon. Enjoy!

This is a model I helped make while at Cubicle Ninjas for the VR Project we made for Nyx Professional Makeup in the fall of 2017. I worked with the model I was provided as a base, and I remade and rigged the cap with the brush to match the branding on Nyx’s website, and I was provided the physical product to match as well. I also unwrapped the model to create the texture.
The model is 3108 tris, 1 draw call with the texture size at 2048 x 2048, and I made the entire texture using primarily illustrator for all the text and labeling in vector format. This is a complete guide on how we created this stylized viking asset. We used a mix of Blender, Zbrush, and Topogun for the modeling section. The model was then textured in Substance painter and finally rendered in Blender 3 with the help of the compositor.
