This was such a cool project to work on. I made this project based on the concept art from Kyle Corneliushttps://www.artstation.com/artwork/5l2Kz. Everything has a first time well this project was a lot of first times. This is my first time working in zbrush I always wanted to learn how to sculpt and work it down to a useable game ready creature. After making the high poly in zbrush I went to Maya for the retopo this was also a first for me so learned to work with the quad draw tool. When the low poly was done I uv unwrapped in Maya and textured in substance painter. I went back to zbrush for the posing. Any tips for me to apply to future models?
This stylized axe was made with a very small amount of polygons to be used in game engines without any problem. Its 1024x1024 texture was hand painted on the substance painter and is mirrored.
If you want change the axe texture, you can edit the photoshop file! There you can separately edit the details, the Ambient occlusion, the color and the black and white painting
