The folding chair (sella curulis) was an important sign of power in Roman times. There were seals with or without a backrest, which folded like scissors, like modern camping chairs, for easy portability. For my week 10 CGMA Stylized Game Assets course assignment, I designed and created a cart asset inspired by Kena: Bridge of Spirits made by Ember Lab. I made the concept for the cart in Krita, then sculpted it in Zbrush, 3D modeled it in Blender, and textured it with Substance Painter. My aim was to make sure that the asset would fit in with the game’s environment and art style.
