My entry for the February Challenge of Frontiers. Here we have a cowboy on his way to discover what lays beyond what his eyes can see in the desert.
I wanted to take a lower poly and stylized approach to this model, and make it look like a drawing rather than a 3D model. This is a complete guide on how we created this stylized viking asset. We used a mix of Blender, Zbrush, and Topogun for the modeling section. The model was then textured in Substance painter and finally rendered in Blender 3 with the help of the compositor.
