I jumped into this challenge halfway through the challenge time which inspired me to make a joke about time. Lately if been inspired by scenes inside of objects like snowglobes for example. Through roleplay and further development her personality has manifested very differently from the original expression and vibe I was going for, and I also wasn’t a big fan of the model itself. This is my entry for the Low Poly Game Challenge for Sketchfab!
The hero of the game is a brave Monk, surrounded by his KI energy, which is willing to fight the scary Ryuu Dragon to save his friend, trapped at the top of the castle.
In the left side of the screen, there’s a Takoyaki shop where you can recharge your energy.
And in the right side, you can find Kappa, a fisherman with whom you can talk to ear prizes.
Get ready and fight the dragon to follow the path and get the Daruma item. That’s the only way to get inside the castle, which is floating in the blue sky air above furious sea.
It was modeled and assembled with Maya.
For this scene, I used a few textures, for the sky, sea and caustic, made with Photoshop. Besides these textures, everything is just flat color shader to achieve the toon look.

Purpose
Juice Cylinders are Mary’s Magical Adventure universe’s equivalent of juice boxes. They are round drink containers, meant to be used by children as snacks when away from home. There are handles on both sides of the cylinder, for easy holding by kids. Straws are inserted off-center on top, which lets kids see the label and window into the container, letting them see how much of their drink remains.
Unlike real juice boxes, Juice Cylinders are sturdy so kids can’t squish them. It’s better to teach them not to squeeze their drink containers to get juice out quicker, or they could try that with restaurant cups and end up soaked in their drink! Better avoid that…

I completed the model but unfortunately other work commitments at the time meant I wasn’t able to texture it, so it was left up to other artists to finish it off.
