This is a 3D model of an ancient marble statue in the Glyptotek Museum in København, Denmark. It is a sculpture of the Roman emperor Trajan. The statue depicts Trajan in a standing position with pieces of both arms missing from the statue. Trajan ruled Rome from 98 to 117 CE. He was seen as a very benevolent ruler and was most known for projects that benefited the Roman society. Such projects include constructing aqueducts and building public baths. This is a model I made of the Lament Configuration for 3d printing.
I was tired of seeing so many models online that merely had copies of 3 sides duplicated on all 6 sides, so I decided to create my own proper version that has all 6 individual sides.
If you purchase this, you will get STL’s for 2 different versions. One which is made for printing in layers (flat sides, which can then have the gold parts printed and stuck on). Each piece is marked with individual pins so that there is no errors in assembling.
The second version, is more for MMU machines, where the gold patterns have actually been cut in to the sides of the cube, so the gold will actually be inlayed.
Both versions are made up of 6 individual sides, with pins/slots for the sides to be assembled, and also to make printing easier.
