An helmet I made for an in-house contest at Ringtail Studios. The model is based on the Stechhelm, or Jousting Helmet, dating back to 1500 and kept at the Metropolitan Museum of New York. It formed part of a highly specialized tournament armor worn solely for the Gestech, or German joust, fought with blunted lances.
