Fully textured and rigged Redcap Oranda goldfish model with sample animation. Redcap Oranda as the name suggests is a breed of goldfish with silver body and red wen which resembles a cap attached to its head. Known as Tancho goldfish in Japan, this breed and rest of Oranda goldfishes actually have nothing to do with the country of Netherlands (Holland, where the word Oranda came from). This breed of goldfish is known for its protrusion of their scales forming a pearl like shape and coloring. They come in all shapes and forms but the models here are of the Pingpong Pearl goldfish from Southeast Asia. They are the most popular amongst the pearlscales for their unusually round shape, kinda like a puffer fish.
I usually try to pick a dynamic pose as a thumbnail for SF. But with their extreme chubbiness, no matter how hard I tried, they weren’t achieving any dynamicness. So instead I added one more with different color and animation variation. Now people can get two for the price of one! (jk, they are free downloads).
