The main intention when putting together this peice was to work around the idea that the mask was ancient and had been worn around the edges. Whoa, it’s been a really long time since I’ve posted anything here. So I thought I’d post a little personal fan art project here again. This time it’s of the five swords that Link acquires in Majora’s Mask. I tried to keep them similar to official art where possible, but also using the in game models as reference too. It’s interesting how different the Razor Sword art is compared to the model.

Banjo and Kaoozie, from their beloved platform-adventure “collectathon” game, grabbing a Jiggy. The models were meant for updating my Banjo-Kazooie submission for the Source Filmmaker workshop, but I decided against this. But I didn’t want my work to go to waste, so I stylized the models, and uploaded them to Sketch Fab to show off.
I also experimented a little of giving the models more detailed textures. More specifically, giving the textures a more rough look. But still keeping a simple, cartoony look.
