This is a model I designed of an old black and white lighthouse I created with an aluminum red roof. I created this using Blender, Substance Painter, Substance Designer and Photoshop. I love the ocean and this was my homage to the frontier of the sea. It is very detailed and took many hours to paint and model. Made this floating island with a lighthouse in 5 days trying to be done by the end of the week. And I gotta say, this was a marathon. Were a lot of troubles with baking, making fine details. If I had more time I would probably did separate bakes, but not this time. So, about the model: it’s a handpainted lowpoly with baked map from a highpoly. Triangles count: 27,5K. I was going with anime style (Miyazaki movies) and for reference I used artworks of Jim Shore (“Benatrex - Shorelights”), you’ll notice the lighthouse that I recreated.
