Another project I work on in my final semester in 3D animation and images synthesis. It was inspired by some tabletop games like Descent and Dungeons and Dragons but with a dark fantasy style. I make some textures in substance designer to learn the program and improve my substance skills. This poor adventurer met a terrible fate in this sinister dungeon. This was my summer project before starting second year at DMU Game Art, although due to some module mix up, I spent about 3 weeks revisiting it on and off. The brief was to make a 10m x 10m realistic-style castaway island, using substance painter to texture. I originally planned to do a pirate-themed island and made extra props, but realised that they just didn’t work at all with the scene. Instead I’ve kept it very basic and natural.
