Naveta des Tudons “La nave de las palomas torcaces" es una tumba de carácter colectivo exclusiva de la isla de Menorca. Se trata de una construcción ciclópea de la prehistoria menorquina en 1200 y 750 a.C. En su interior se encontraron mas de 100 personas junto con sus objetos funerarios. Las dimensiones de la Naveta son aproximado de 14.5m de largo, un ancho de 6.5m y una altura de 4.55m. “La nave de las palomas torcaces" is a collective tomb exclusive to the island of Menorca. It is a cyclopean construction from the Menorcan prehistory in 1200 and 750 B.C. Inside, more than 100 people were found along with their funerary objects. Las antefijas o imbrices extremi son elementos decorativos que desde época arcaica se usaban en las extremidades de los ímbrices que unían las tegulas de marmol o barro cocido en los tejados de los edificios.
Las antefijas se realizaban habitualmente mediante molde, y se ha propuesto a Gracurris (Alfaro) como posible taller de origen de los siete ejemplares rescatados en Turiaso, dada la recurrencia en dicho taller de los motivos representados en ellas.
Si bien este tipo de piezas solían ubicarse en edificios públicos, hemos de reseñar que los ejemplares procedentes de Turiaso son el resultado de su rescate en intervenciones de urgencia en diversos lugares del actual casco urbano: Calle Barrio Verde, Calle Gutierrez Tapia, Casa de la Vicaria y Pradiel, distantes entre sí, no conformando una aparente zona edilicia.
