Traditional representation of a cow, powerfully linked to Sugawara no Michizane, japanese poet and politician from the 9th century (Heian Period of Japan). If you want to learn more about this character, I found an interesting japanese blog that wrote about him . At the Michizane funerals, the cow pulled the coffin of Michizane. Possessed by his spirit, the cow then layed down during the procession, at the place where he wanted his soul to rest. Created in reality capture.

My Wild West cowboy is finally finished and I absolutelly love the result! It took me some time to get this as perfect as possible, especially the colours were quite the challenge with this one. For my final assignment character creation I went to the whole pipeline from high poly sculpt to a game-ready, textured model. The original structure was built in 1904 according to the design of the architect Nikolay Zhukov and has undergone some reconstructions since then. It was also sometimes called “Tatar Mosque” because its congregation consisted mainly of ethnic Tatars. Socially, the Moscow Congregational Mosque was often viewed as the central mosque in Russia. It was one of the four mosques in Moscow.
The old mosque was demolished on 11 September 2011. The decision to demolish it was controversial.[1] In June 2008, the mosque was recognized as an object of cultural heritage, however, in the end of 2008 it was removed from the list of historical and architectural monuments.
A new mosque has been built at the site of the former one. It was officially inaugurated on 23 September 2015.
