The costume was made for a theatrical performance «Indecent is decent» (Ivanovo State Museum of Local History named after D.G. Burylin, October 30, 2019 – March 1, 2020). The 3D reconstruction was made by using historical block patterns, 2D scans of textile materials and 3d scans of contemporary actors. Anthroscan, Clo3D, SubstancePainter and Unreal Engine 4 software programs were used.

This is my second assignment of Second Year Game Art @ De Montfort University. The brief was to create a ‘Bounty Hunter’ character bust with a budget of 18,000 tris. The aim was to create a semi-realistic look by using Zbrush for a more detailed mesh, then retop in 3DS Max and texuture in Substance Painter/Designer. Since our deadline isn’t until the end of the year, I haven’t rendered in UE4 for the hand-in just yet and have used Marmoset Toolbag. I really enjoyed this project - it was a pretty big learning curve for just a few weeks project but I learned a lot of new techniques and had fun bringing my own bounty hunter concept to life! My inspiration was the Witcher 3, but with a bit of stylisation mixed in. This is a bust of Nefertiti from Assassin’s Creed Origins DLC “The Curse of the Pharaohs”. I’ve made it in two weeks as pressure test for the academy end of the 2nd year project.
Nefertiti’s face fidelity and bands around the body were the main challenges I had to face. I took references from the iconic Nefertiti bust from Egyptian Museum of Berlin, in order to replicate the exact face and crowned head shapes.
Since academy contest was about Aliens Vs Undeads, I turned her face in a limestone piece as suggested from the official AC Origins DLC cover instead of her golden mask just like appears in the game.
I learned a lot from this exercise and understood where I have to improve for the next challenges. Any type of suggestion and/or critique are appreciated!

Hey guys. After the success of my Ghostbusters Ecto 1 and Firehouse exterior scene, I decided to challenge myself with the interior. Using online reference of Engine 23’s interior, movie screen grabs and floor plans, I managed to get something that resembles the layout. The fun part was adding the details that made it look like a fully established business. Things to look for: Janine’s infamous Whale Paperweight, Her copy of People Magazine, the Rainbow Dec 100 computer Egon installed, the guys lockers and the pole Ray slid down. Peter’s office has a few Easter Eggs too.
