“When in doubt…blow it up!" I am very excited to share this treasure chest I made for Jordan Power's Brushforge mentorship. I created this chest over the past 8 weeks, from concept to model to textures. My goals for this project were to improve upon my concept/design skills, continue to push my texture painting and work in some animation. 9 weeks in total to get this girl working. From sculpting to rigging, animation and character controllers, this goblin has been a heck of a challenge. I’m happy to be out of the other side with a lot more useful skills under my belt.
I made this character for my uni assesment after an artwork by Sam Frisk on Twitter.
I followed a high to low workflow, maxed roughness PBR texture, and even made a simple custom rig.

I created this warmaul for DAE’s Weaponcraft asssignment.
A relic weapon designed for “The Scarlet Crusade”, a fanatical religious sect on a grand quest to rid Azeroth of the Undead Scourge up in former Lordaeron. It never had the possibility to shine its brightest light due all the corruption from within.
The Scarlet Crusade always interested me in the time I played WoW, but never did I invest in their lore as much. Doing a deep dive I discovered about this lad Saidan Dathoran who was their “Grand Crusader” before being corrupted by this dreadlord. The weapon they portrayed Dathoran with looked like a big rock on a stick, so I thought I’d design something a bit more worthy for a “Grand Crusader”.
