This piece is of a haunted wagon concept I tweaked to be more light-hearted and to be able to play with different methods of coloring in Substaance Painter. I started in Maya by modeling and UV each individual piece. I then transferred the low poly model into Zbrush to sculpt in the wood grain textures and other small details. I then ported both the low and high poly meshes into Substance Painter, baked, and colored. I created my own alphas for the pumpkin faces within Photoshop and brought them over to Substance Painter. This work includes complete texture/material set on a predefined ingame model.
My focus was and always will be to create medium-tier weapon skins, that are relatively neutral and not overly complicated. I know there are so many superb artists that create a true pieces of Art - I’m just a humble ui/ux designer that puts his soul to create a niche of guns that fit my needs.
Like all of my work, I will adapt this style to various guns with changes and adjustments where it seems necessary (for example additional material because of model complexity etc).
