This was such a cool project to work on. I made this project based on the concept art from Kyle Corneliushttps://www.artstation.com/artwork/5l2Kz. Everything has a first time well this project was a lot of first times. This is my first time working in zbrush I always wanted to learn how to sculpt and work it down to a useable game ready creature. After making the high poly in zbrush I went to Maya for the retopo this was also a first for me so learned to work with the quad draw tool. When the low poly was done I uv unwrapped in Maya and textured in substance painter. I went back to zbrush for the posing. I chose an Egyptian Mummifier where a sphinx-like statue of Anubis, the Egyptian god of the dead is the focus point.

Hello, are two elementals I made together with Bert Suffys. It was part of a group project called Brimstone. The design, modeling and unwrapping was done by me, and Bert did the texturing. At the end I changed the textures a bit to make it look more fire-ish and ice-ish. I really enjoyed this, because it was a good opportunity for me to learn how to work together with other artists. This design is way fatter and i tried to add as much weight as i could and get it into the whale theme while still keeping it consistent and somewhat matching with the original plane.
Everything went along swimmingly outside of texturing and animation as those are the two i havent dabbled that much in, especially since this is my first time creating a stylised texture, think it went well though!
This was made for the course “Game Art” in DAE and im quite proud of my work!
