Hello, this is another game ready asset i builded for our study project called “Gravity". Its a Videocube whos located in the middle of the arena. The rings unter the cube will spawn the “ball" at the beginning of each round. This was my first work with highpoly baking and floating geometry. My submission for a past Sketchwars theme: redo a classic…
My thought is that something went astray with the Thunderbird between 1963 and 1967. My 3D sketch is a proposal for a different aesthetic bridge between the lovely 1963 body style and the somewhat radical departure of 1967. This took 4 hours to do, completely done in 3D while immersed in VR using Gravity Sketch. I had 2D reference pictures in the scene, but all the ideation of the forms was done in 3D.
This is a non-traditional medium (skipping 2D) so I did a bunch of tweaking with post process effects to give it a more grainy textured paper/punchy colors/rendered look … minus the dabs of white gouache for highlights!
