This is my Final for Stylized Creation. We had to go from a chosen concept to a 3D model that’s game ready. Meaning we had to go through the whole workflow of making a stylized character. This involved making a blockout, sculpting the detail on that blockout. There after we had to retopo the highpoly mesh and thus make a low poly version of it. Then we had to unwrap, to eventually bake and texture the model.

This is the final version of my first 3D assignment for Howest DAE.
I had a lot of fun working on it, especially the texturing, as we were now allowed to use anything like substance painter, marmoset etc. Everything had to either be done in photoshop or maya and we could pretty much only use an albedo and some transparency. It was a challange to get the textures looking good without any roughness or normals, but I think I learned a lot from it.

This assignment was focussed on going through the whole pipeline (blockout - sculpting - retopology - UV Layout - texturing - presentation). This little guy was sculpted in ZBrush, retopo and UVs were done in Maya and I used Substance Painter for the final texturing touches.
