This project was probably one of the more complex models I’ve done. I first worked on the handle of the saber first since that’s where all the detail resides. Throughout the modeling process, I would always forget to model a certain component after laying out UVs and textures, so I will have to go back and model it in. I swore to myself long ago that never again would I do painting, would it be in 3D-Coat or Substance… especially Substance. But Substance Designer was not the kind to bear this project. I did my best with an unknown software so.
