The Lion Throne (also known as Sihasana or Thihathana Palin; Burmese: သီဟသနပလ္လင်, derived from Sanskrit: सिंहासन, romanized: siṃhāsana, lit. ‘lion’s seat, throne’) is one of the eight historic thrones used by the Burmese monarchs.
