I’ve always been a massive fan of Warhammer 40K. Starting out with a Necron army in 2005. I’ve been wanting to do a piece like this for a while and have had a lot of fun in bringing the Kommando to life.
A Kommando (pl. Kommandoz) is a specialist Ork Boy who prefers to rely on “kunning trikz” instead of fighting his opponents head-on like most other Greenskins. This came out after a massive raw photogrammetry scan I did a while ago, I reprocessed it focusing more on the lift itself and with a slightly different method and set of photos (1600 x45MP photos).
