They chose this design because they were fast and cheap to build. However during the build InnerConn Technologies defaulted on a loan and they stopped all construction and were never completed. Over the years they have deteriorated and have been vandalized. This one has been photographed and turned into a 3D model to historically preserve its place in time. A few vulgar graffiti images have been digitally removed.
