Hi! There, I want to show you my latest hard surface modeling where is I made a weapon from the cool character on Overwatch (Sombra). I try to challenge myself to create different textures from the original, so I decide to use Asiimov skin from CSGO as my reference, i took almost two weeks to finish model, texture, lighting, and rendering btw here is the result :)
btw the texture on the right side flipped, coz I just mirror the UV and overlapped xD I’m too lazy to create another uv map

Cross-polarization method is used to get rid of specular lights. The object is also scanned from below to capture it from every side. I had found a bagful of old keys last month and got inspired to make some designs off them. Initially I had wanted to make them uniquely unwrapped, but I realized that it actually has great potential in a modular format. Set includes more than a dozen key head (???) variants as well as more than half a dozen blade variants.
Modelled in Blender, textures created in Substance Painter, with some help from photoshop for cavity details.
