In this project I wanted to make a creature and mount that could exist in the universe of World of Warcraft. I wanted to be as accurate to in game models and aimed have it share the same poly count as well as texture resolution as models in game. I was inspired to make this based on Ashleigh Warner’s creation of the pet, “Daisy the Sloth”. I am very excited to share this treasure chest I made for Jordan Power’s Brushforge mentorship. I created this chest over the past 8 weeks, from concept to model to textures. My goals for this project were to improve upon my concept/design skills, continue to push my texture painting and work in some animation. Inspired by World of Warcraft’s Goblins and their janky, needlessly dangerous gadgets. I had a blast working on this (lol)
