When I was a child, I wondered, how pirates started to build their pirate island of Tortuga, and what made it an island-sized pub. At the time, I thought they were in a shipwreck and instead of asking for help, they started shedding. Then several people joined them and this is how this franchise came into being. Of course, I was a kid then. Today I know that to form a monopoly on an uninhabited island, a very lucrative business … Yeah … I was a little weird child. Don't worry, I stayed the same as an adult … Fun stylized challenge. Low poly modeling with Maya and textured with Substance Painter. Hopefully you like it :) P.S.: I organize a collection for the bird, so I can enroll in an elite flying school. Maybe it won't be ,that little clumsy 3d model

My submission for the first Low Poly challenge of 2021! The combined lighthouse and windmill provides the Lighthouse Keeper with an excellent view of the surrounding reef, unfortunately it lighthouse no longer works as intended, meaning there have been a few… mishaps over the years. Though we are assured that it certainly wasn’t the Keeper’s intention! The crows nest provides a convenient way to cut across to get those fresh seagull eggs in the morning, and the diving platform provides a nice way to keep entertained through those hot summer days. There’s plenty to do and see - a fishing platform, covered to keep you protected from the midday sun, the odd wreck and legend has it there’s a treasure chest that’s been pulled on shore! Some stairs I found in the German-French Garden in Saarbrücken. Did you know? Over 3 years ago, when I uploaded this decimated raw scan, Sketchfab did not have any restrictions for texture size (or at least none I can remember). Consequently, when the new 8k texture limit kicked in, my singular model was automatically split into 4 chunks (judging by the current number of UVs), to accomodate the lower resolutions.
