Toda a pança é decorada por ramos de romãzeira com um pequeno pássaro no centro. A peça foi produzida em molde, sendo revestida por vidrado de chumbo, verde no exterior, amarelado no interior. Este tipo de vasos foi produzido na região de Aquileia (Norte de Itália), imitando objetos de prata. Os conjuntos dessas pratas (nomeadamente os da região da Baía de Nápoles) mostram que se tratava de vasos para beber.
