She is one of the 16 identical hull trawlers launched by the Batifort shipyard between 1945 and 1957. The Kifanlo is a tuna trawler made of wood with mixed propulsion. She is 16.37 metres long, with a tonnage of 27.51 tons, and is equipped with a 120 hp Poyaud engine. Gianfranco Luzzetti acquistò questa scultura nel 1992 da un antiquario in Bosnia. Il confronto per l’attribuzione è palese: il bronzetto del Giambologna che rappresenta Ercole con la clava del Museo Nazionale del Bargello di Firenze. La singolare bellezza della scultura Luzzetti, la qualità della lavorazione e la struttura vigorosa sono tutte caratteristiche che sembrano confermare la correttezza dell’attribuzione a Giambologna (pseudonimo di Jean de Boulogne; Douai 1529 - Firenze 1608). Inoltre, le dimensioni e il grado di rifinitura dei particolari inducono a credere che non si tratti di un bozzetto di studio ma di un vero e proprio modello compiuto.
