La geometria che ho scelto per questo esperimento riguarda un pezzo di pane; un soggetto con due diverse tipologie di consistenza: una più dura la crosta e una più morbida la mollica. Il contrasto tra queste due consistenze è inoltre complicato dalla presenza di alveolature interstiziali opportunamente illuminate.

…the dramatic collapse and then clearance of an historic bridge in Worcestershire was the end to its history. But a UAV Photogrammetric survey preserved the detail befor a new bridge was built. The work was commissioned by Worcestershire County Council and the resulting data used by the structuaral engineers and contractors.
For viewing the 3D model use a mouse with a wheel to zoom, left click and hold to rotate and right click to move. Try rotating the model in full screen mode and switch rendering option to Matcap or wireframe (bottom right). This is a very “quick’n’dirty” test I decided to finally upload as a first entry to the #AgisoftClothesChallenge . It’s not great, it’s not that bad either…
This jacket is a replica of the black paneled uniform worn by military members of the Atlantis expedition in the Sci-Fi show Stargate Atlantis, and this specific version, made of ripstop fabric, is worn by John Sheppard during seasons 2 and 3 of the show. I made it back in 2013, so there are some flaws…
The model has a lot of flaws too that I could not really correct without damaging it more, and varying lighting during the photoscanning did not help… It’s made from 222 Nikon D5300 DSLR 24 MPx pictures, with low quality alignment, and medium quality depth map meshing, with a bit of smoothing.
