The Corsair was designed and operated as a carrier-based aircraft, and entered service in large numbers with the U.S. Navy in late 1944 and early 1945. It quickly became one of the most capable carrier-based fighter-bombers of World War II. Early problems with carrier landings and logistics led to it being eclipsed as the dominant carrier-based fighter by the F6F Hellcat, powered by the same Double Wasp engine.

A 3d model based on a museum example of a sten like submachinegun in the Polish military museum in Warsaw, the submachinegun or “SMG” was made by Edward Sitek a member of the Polish resistance during the Nazi occupation of Poland in ww2 most likely by hand and out of scrap metal with minimal tools.
The design of the submachinegun is most likely based on the famous British Sten gun mixed with the Polish Mors smg, there is also from the looks of it some Russian ppsh 41 influence of the gun as the what could be a safety, fire selector or both look fairly similar to the ppsh 41s fire selector. This is an animation demo of my new low poly computer model. It was very fun to do !
At first I had some issues with the screen changing (interpolation between frames) but I found a trick: place the second screen on the first one, one frame before it disappear.
This trick didn’t unfortunately worked on the grid floor (you can see the interpolation in the middle of the animation).
