This is my attempt at modelling World of Warcraft’s Sulfuron Keep from the Firelands raid.
This model was created for a college project so any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
And just as a side note: I am aware that the underside of the model and the fact that the platform is poking out from the lava does look rather unusual, however the main reason for this is because I wasn’t originally planning to upload this scene as a physical model that could be viewed from any perspective, instead, once the model was completed, I intended to take a single, static render of the scene as if it were looking through the eyes of a player, and uploading that image to my Artstation account, meaning that I wasn’t really focussing on any of the areas of the model that wouldn’t be seen within the final render. XRK M4 Assault Rifle Weapon
I created it to improve my hard surface modeling and texturing skills. The model is divided into 6 parts:
M4A1 Assault Rifle,
Reflex sight,
Suppressor,
Vertical grip,
Iron sight,
Magazine.
Each part has separate texture set so every attachment can be used in other weapons (future assets).
The low and high poly meshes were modeled and unwrapped in Blender and then baked and textured in Substance Painter.
