The Game | ForeVR Darts is the second flagship game by ForeVR Games Studio released for the VR Oculus Quest Community. I had the opportunity to be a part of the great development team creating this fun & engaging VR game for Oculus Quest. For this release, I was provided with the task to design, create, and package the whole Chinese Lunar New Year prop set during this Holiday update with ForeVR Darts Seasonal release. Lunar Year Red Envelope | Interactive Prop For this fun project, the objective was to design and create a Chinese New Year traditional gift giving of ‘Red Envelope' to present to our players from ForeVR Studio. In pushing the envelope (pun intended) with the process of design and creativity, I wanted to give our players a visually surprising, fun, and interactive prop when opening the red envelope awaiting them in our lobby. I thought this would be a cool idea and wanted to take the opportunity to create something new for the World of Warcraft universe. I thought of this idea because I wanted to take something that exists in real life and turn it into something that might live in the World of Warcraft, and I knew the Tuskarr would be a fun culture to delve into. Since they’re based on Walruses I came up with the Milk Delivery Sledge for transporting their milk across the icy places of Northrend and the Dragon Isles. I tried to make everything fit in with the Tuskarr aesthetic and had a lot of fun with it. I appreciate all the feedback I had throughout the process which allowed me to push the project further and I’m really happy with how it looks. Enjoy! :)
