The Terme Ruler depicts a man with a disproportionately muscular body, especially when compared to its more modestly shaped head. Estimations date this statue to near the 2nd century BCE, comparing it to the Terme Boxer, particularly in hair style.

This piece of stone column formed part of a Roman bathouse which was found as part of excavations by Oxford Archaeology North and the Wigan Archaeological Society in 2005.
This piece of column was made from a stone local to the Wigan area known as ganister, and had a hole carved in the base, and is believed to have been used as an oil lamp post excavation.
