Another 1 and a half week project of a medieval heavy crossbow. Inspired after a portfolio critique and been wanting to create a medieval/fantasy inspired piece for some time now.
Modelling done in Maya with certain detailed parts such as the wood carvings and stock ornaments done with the help of Zbrush and photoshop. Textured with substance painter and rendering done on Unreal engine 5.
This might be my last project in a while since I have an actual full time job that I have to attend to, however I will be back with more projects in the future and will keep on improving my skills as required. A motorcycle of the Warhammer 40k Universe. This one is painted with the colors and emblems of the “White Scars” Space Marine Chapter. The White Scars are known for their “need for speed”, and were one of the legions that was defending the Imperial Capital in the siege of Terra during the Horus Heresy.
Since it’s based on a toy model, it didn’t have much details on some parts… So i look for some references and modeled some things “a bit” different: the tires, the steering handles, the dashboard, the seat and an actual motorcycle engine (with some modifications to fit it into the model dimentions, nothing too fancy though).
As everyone should know by now, the space marines, white scars, warhammer 40k universe images and emblems are the property of Games Workshop.
I was thinking of modeling also a Space Marine to pilot the thing but that is another work (i’m doing it right now).
