A custom Detonics Combat Master 1911 fitted with a compensator, used by Nishikigi Chisato in Lycoris Recoil. This is my 3D rendition of the gun plus the weapon case seen in Episode 2. The Detonics Combat Master is a sub-compact variant of the 1911 family designed specifically to target individuals looking for a conceal carry handgun. Chisato's Detonics features a completely fictional/custom compensator that the animator likely took inspiration from Tokyo Marui's Striker .45 airsoft pistol. In the anime show, Chisato states that she uses “non-lethal rubber bullets" that produces a dust of red smoke upon impact. But due to how the projectile disintegrates it's more of a frangible ammunition, which is what my ammo box design is based on. Still rather lethal if being shot at nonetheless. I wanted to take a stab at making something less boxy than my usual models with ornate features. I spent the last month on and off making this flintlock pistol. Modeled in Blender 2.83. Beveled normals and ornate engravings were baked in Blender, the ornate engravings were made in Affinity Designer. The rest of the texturing was done in Substance Painter. This is also the first time I sculpt a skull. I am super happy with how everything turned out!
Extra file includes:
PBR texture set in 1k, 2k, and 4k.
Each set Contains: Color Map, Metalic Map, Normal Map, and Roughness Map.

This is a practice piece I worked on when following a ‘Sci-fi Weapon Tutorial’ by Michael Pavlovich. Most of the high res was done with Zbrush’s z-modeler tool. The version to the right has a single 1024x1024 texture while the Left is the 4096x4096 Version. The 1024x1024 version suffers a little bit due to sketchfab texture compression but should look cleaner in your target engine if compression quality is set to high or none.
The model features partially mirrored UVs in order to increase the pixel density.
For correct rotations in Unity engine you might need to tick the “Bake axis conversion” import option when importing the FBX.
An additional 128x128 texture set is used for the 9x19mm Bullets inside the weapon on the right version while the left one uses a 1024x1024 texture for the bullet.
