A model for Astrokill, an indie game I’m teaming up with. This will be the slower-but-beefier fighter for the Outer Belt Alliance faction.
It features dorsal and ventral 30mm turrets, fixed 60mm autocannons, and a 120mm main gun. It can also carry up to six nuclear torpedoes to combat enemy installations, one of which is shown here just prior to main engine ignition. For defenses, it has thick hull plating typical to the OBA faction, partially shielded thermal management systems, and an enhanced inverse gravitic field generator which can be found under the starboard wing. Hello people, I have built a battleship/carrier here that comes from my own imagination but also borrows ideas from ships from the Stargate universe. It is completely rigged.
It has 8 heavy cannons and 14 medium cannons (all medium cannons have a tracker for easier use of the rig, as well as a collection tracker for 5 cannons on each site so that they can be used synchronously to track a target), plus a heavy rocket launcher.
It has 4 main engines for sub-light speeds. in the lower middle an auxiliary engine. The bridge is in the upper rear part. Shortly behind it is the reactor and next to it the 8 shield generators. The hyperdrive is connected directly to the reactor. On the bottom it has 4 gravitational jets for hovering.
The ship also has 4 hangar bays (which can each be opened and closed individually).
I also included a function test animation to demonstrate the rig.
