This project is roughly 4 weeks in the making and is by far the most fun I’ve been with modeling a character. I modeled this in Zbrush and modeled the props and weapons in Maya. Hair was a bit of a challenge but I was inclined to keep it simple. I textured Ram Warrior in Substance Painter and posed him in Zbrush using ZSpheres. I needed new houses to the scene / level I’m developing in unreal I’ve seen some concept art online that was basically a multi-stage inn that was made out of a ship with the bottom of the ship being the top of the inn. I took that idea and made a different house. I’ve been watching these mushrooms grow in a little patch of forest near my house and the #AgisoftNatureChallenge provided a good incentive to see how well they’d scan. I was a bit surprised at how some of the details like the ant colony entrance turned out. All in all, it was a good experience trying to capture something that I might not have attempted otherwise. Model made from 132 12MB images taken with a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and processed in Metashape using “High” quality settings.
