1905 Buick Model C. Modeled in Maya and used Quixel SUITE for textures. I love old cars and wanted to attempt to make one. While I was looking for which vehicle to recreate I instantly fell in love with the 1905 Buick and NEEDED to model it. This car reminded me of a carriage and it just seems so magical, at least to me. I couldn’t find many reference images for this vehicle and the ones that I found were not very high res, but I am satisfied with how this project turned out while using what I could find. In order to internalize and learn about the workflow for videogames, I decided to take the course “Realistic Prop Creation for Video Games” by Paula Sánchez-Ferrero Ruiz at Domestika.
With my previous experience and the artist’s guidance, I proceeded to create a model that required baking and work on Zbrush.
All meshes were designed in 3ds Max. The main frame of the bed (made up of welded pipes) was later sculpted in Zbrush.
